The Central Maryland Association of .NET Professionals Hands-On Lab Group is a special interest group. The group focuses on practices and exercises that help the developer understand new and existing technology. The group is free and open to the public.
The meetings contain information, presentations and various lab exercises. These include some of the following:
- Hands-on Development
- Code exploration and discovery
- Coding best-practices
- Development tool use
- Getting started topics
- Installations and configurations
Many of the sessions are extensions of the Main Group meeting topics.
At the meeting we have networking time, presentations, and hands-on exercises. Attendees are encouraged to bring their computer and be prepared to load exercises (usually in a virtual image) and work through the exercises.
Our Hands-On Lab Group meeting is ALWAYS the Third Thursday of the month unless noted in the meeting announcement. The meetings run from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM The group meets from fall through early summer and takes a break during the summer months.
The Hands-On Lab Group meeting is typically held at the Aquilent Conference Room in Laurel (please review the schedule of meetings to get directions).
